Joe Hoffman serves as a partner for the firm. His practice focuses on commercial real estate, outside corporate counsel and governance, and business disputes and litigation. He advises sophisticated business professionals in the commercial real estate industry to achieve the most efficient results. His clients include those in the hospitality and retail industries, real estate developers and contractors, and large to mid-size business owners. He represents clients in acquisitions and sales of commercial properties, negotiations of various contracts in furtherance of developing commercial properties, and disputes alleging breach of business contracts, theft of trade secrets, violation of restrictive covenants, breach of fiduciary duty, defamation, fraud and other various intentional torts. He also has experience in representing businesses in bad faith insurance claims, non-compete disputes, internal corporate disputes, construction litigation, and claims against directors and officers.

Joe has been selected for eight consecutive years as a Georgia Rising Star recognizing him as one of the best lawyers in the state from 2014 to 2024 in the areas of civil litigation defense and business litigation.

Joe has served his community through his roles on various boards including the Atlanta Bar Association and former president of the Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers, which included a board position with the Atlanta Volunteer Legal Foundation (AVLF). He was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the Atlanta Bar Association in 2017, which is an honor given annually in recognition of an attorney's exceptional contributions and dedicated service to the Atlanta Bar Association. He served as co-chair of ServiceJuris, Inc., a non-profit organization comprised of lawyers devoted to planning a day of service to the Atlanta community. In 2016, Joe was one of twenty-five attorneys from across the country selected to the American Bar Association's biennial TIPS Leadership Academy, whose mission is to serve the public by providing participants with the knowledge and skills to lead the legal profession as well as the general community.
